Look who’s back on the blog!! My friend, Magen Reaves. We’ve done a couple of styling posts together that we call “Grunge and Glam”. This is our way to get together, catch up, and also style the same thing different ways. She’s such and adorable friend and mama of 4 and I always enjoy her positivity and kindness. She’s such a blessing in my life!
For this weeks Grunge and Glam we are styling a versatile kimono you’ll love…. seriously. It’s from Free People and I’ve shopped Free People since I was little since my mom has always loved it but Magen is seriously Free People QUEEN so I loved when she sent me this kimono. It comes in a ton of colors too.
Also…. HOW CUTE ARE OUR BAGS!? It’s the cutest Spring/beach bag. I love the size, fits a bunch yet is still small. And the outer plastic material keeps water from getting to your items. I love it!
How I styled the Versatile Kimono You’ll Love:
How I styled this kimono…. I purchased the blush color (Shade Cafe) so I wanted to keep things light and airy. I styled this with a gray tank (super comfortable) and white shorttalls over it. So easy! I also paired it with a fun arm stack and some old wedges (similar here). My bag is in the Khaki shade.
I absolutely LOVE how Magen styled hers too. It’s so her style haha! She got this amazing rust brown color (Shade: Sienna) Perfect for you girls who wear a lot of cognac, black, and darker colors. She styled hers with a cool band tee, denim shorts, and these fun boho sandals. Her bag is in the brown shade btw. Check out Magen’s post here.
