Good morning, friends! Excited for today’s blog post because it’s another styling blog post with my friend, Magen. Y’all probably remember her from my Blazer post. We’ve been having so much fun getting together and styling things two different ways since we have about a 10-year age difference.
Today, we’re styling a denim skirt. To me, it’s a classic staple to have in your closet for the Spring and Summer. There are so many ways you can style it too. While it may not be work-friendly, you will live in a denim skirt after-hours and on the weekend. It’s super cute to throw on and even dress up a graphic tee with.
P.S. What do y’all think about this series we are doing? We decided to name it grunge & glam hahahah. It is so us! Magen is such a fun, boho, mom with a little grunge to her feed which I L O V E. For me, I typically go for light, airy, more glam things so we thought this series would be fun to do together to mix it up. 🙂 Magen is the sweetest soul and you will love her style. Magen’s Outfit:
Magen’s denim skirt is more of a splurge, it’s from Free People and I love the fit of it. She styled her skirt with a fun graphic tee, a black blazer, and cute sneakers. I love the boss girl yet sporty vibe of her outfit. I’ll leave all other outfit details in the widget below. She’s so cute!!
My Outfit:
I styled my denim skirt how I would for day drinks this Spring with my girlfriends. I paired mine with a cute crop top from Shop Aria Rose (not available on site anymore 🙁 ) Linking a similar one here. Along with a duster cardigan since it’s still a little chilly and then these cute brown booties I can’t stop wearing. ALSO had to keep the beige/cream shade theme and top off this look with a fun snakeskin belt.
My skirt is more of a save option. It’s $59 and I purchased from Nordstrom although it’s an Urban Outfitters skirt. My skirt is also ON SALE for 40% off right now, making it $35.40. I chose a Small which fits me….. but I recommend sizing up one. I really wish I would’ve exchanged for a medium for a more loose fit. Linking the rest of the outfit details in widget below.
