“Buy me food and I’m forever yours” will always be my saying. When Josh and I first started dating he quickly learned I’m an eater lol. I always have been and I’m constantly asking him for the last bite of every meal and let’s just say when it comes to food I am the LEAST graceful. But I think that just makes him like me more 😉 #thingsItellmyself

Josh and I are all about eating meals together. I’ll cook at home for him on his busy days, and he cooks at home for me some days. We love to eat out and LOVE pizza. I have an on-going restaurant list on my phone and even when we travel or go to Dallas or Austin, I have about 10 restaurants I want to try every time. Even though I love to get dressed up and go out to eat, nothing beats eating at home in your PJ’s.

If you’re in Lubbock, Colorado, or New Mexico, Dion’s has a wide variety of amazing food options beyond pizza. We ordered the Hub City and the Carnivore pizza and both were SOOO good y’all. The Hub City comes topped with grilled chicken, green chile and bacon, whereas the Carnivore comes with a variety of five different meat toppings. We also ordered the Ranch Salad which is super yummy and had a little bit of meat on it too. Another side we ordered as well was the cheese toast which I mean how can you not love cheesy bread!? If you try Dion’s you also have to get the Fudge Brownies!!! I’m actually usually not a fan of desserts at any restaurant. But these. were. so. good.

We love ordering Dion’s to-go or even stopping into one of our local Dion’s after church for some good pizza. The proportions are also really well sized which is CRUCIAL lol if you like to eat a lot like me or are eating with your family.

I’ve shared some date night ideas in this post before but number 1 was a picnic. With this gorgeous weather that’s here, my next thing on the list is to order from Dion’s and take it to our favorite park in Lubbock and sit outside with our Marley girl. I absolutely love the springtime and all it has to offer. Dion’s is the perfect date night in or a meal you can share at the park with your beau (or whole entire family too!).
