Looking at these photos and wishing I was back to this night!! A few weeks ago Josh and I went to our local Corn Maize in Lubbock. It was so much more fun than I was expecting! They had hay rides, home made food, adorable decorations, and a little petting zoo!! Josh and I always talk about living on a ranch one day and all I ask is for at least one baby goat!!! (and maybe a little piglet too 🙂 ) After doing all of this we headed into the corn maize and it was actually pretty difficult. I can’t read a maize map for my life so I let Josh take charge on that one haha! We ended our night with a late dinner at a restaurant and it was so fun. With both of our school, work, and social schedules, we see each other a lot but never have time to go on dates or spend time just us two. We are always with people or friends and it was great to have a date night to ourselves.
I wore this burgundy sweater for this date night and it was super cozy. I love how it slits on the left side but you do have to wear something under it! I paired some leather shorts and riding boots with it. I originally walked out of my room in heeled booties and my roommate, who had already been, looked at me as if I was crazy and proceeded to tell me I will be walking in dirt/dust and for awhile haha. Well, I’m so excited for today because I get my baby kitten, Coco, back from her surgery trip!! I’m fully expected to have a little sore, sad baby on my hands. I believe she will have a cone on her little head too 🙁 But I am excited to have her back under my roof so I can watch and take care of her! I also have a hair appointment later today and hair days are always the best days!!
