Excited to be sharing our wedding day paper and invitations with y’all today! We did all of our invitations, save the dates, programs, etc. through Minted. I adore them! The process was always smooth, I loved how everything came out, and the delivery was great too.
You may remember my blog post on our Save the Dates that we did through Minted first. Since they turned out so good I ended up ordering our whole wedding suite through them almost a year later.
When you pick your wedding invite theme, you get a “suite” with all other items you can add for the wedding within that theme. It’s really helpful! We chose to do invitations, RSVP cards, and programs. There are thank you cards you can add and so much more but we chose those three and it was plenty. Wedding paper can add up sooo much FYI!!
I went with wedding invitations and programs that coordinated with the theme of our wedding ceremony which was lush and romantic. The colors were emerald and white also. To go with the sultry winter wedding vibe, I went with black backgrounds for everything and I loved how the text and gold foil stood out. What’s also really cool about these invites is that the designer of them is Lissa Anglin. She’s a photographer and creator based in Lubbock that I’ve connected with so when I saw her name I messaged her how much I loved the design she made haha. It was perfect!
You have the flexibility to customize quite a bit within Minted, and you can also request that the designer change/add items too. We had her add the link to our wedding website with details on the back of our invitations. I also wanted to add that I did custom stamps through Minted and it was the cherry on top of our wedding invites. They had our initials and went with the same theme as the invitations. If you have the budget to add those in, DEFINITELY do.
I went back and forth with whether or not I wanted wedding programs. I ended up ordering them last minute and rush shipping them and let me tell y’all a funny story. The day before the wedding I was in Austin, at our hotel, working out. I was INSANE the day before making sure we had every little thing. Mid workout I realized we had left the wedding programs that I spent all this time on and rush shipped… I was SO upset. Josh almost drove home for them the day before the wedding but thank the lord for friends who offer to grab them. She ended up going to our front desk and begging for our keys (we had called them prior too) and she was able to get a key and got into our apartment to grab them for us. Praise the lord haha!
The programs aren’t necessary but they’re really pretty to have laid out on the seats for people to take. They’re technically just a written timeline of events for the ceremony so everyone can follow along.
Thank you for reading today’s #weddingwednesday. Stay tuned for next week!
