This Saturday is National Wine Day and it’s definitely one of my favorite day of the year haha. Who doesn’t love a good excuse to drink wine all day? I’ve shared how much I love Llano wine here and here. Today, I’m sharing how I like to use their Signature Rosè in the summer to make a boozy frosè. Y’all will LOVE this recipe and let me know if you end up trying it.
To start, I’m not much of a measurer I usually just throw things in and pour ingredients until it tastes good haha. But I’m going to try and share measurements to the best of my ability!
What I do, is the night before, I pour half the bottle of rosè into a quart size bag and put in the freezer. It never freezes but it does turn into a slushy in the bag. When you are making your frosè the next day, pour the slush into the blender (we were using our small one but highly recommend a large blender if making this for a group!) and add in the strawberries, vodka, and simple syrup. BLEND. After that, squeeze a whole lemon in and do a little more blending. Voila! It tastes delicious and I like to buy strawberry popsicles in the summer and add it to the glass for some extra sweetness and tart flavor and it looks SO ADORABLE.
These are the Llano wines I love. The Sauvignon Blanc is so good and the pinot is a really good light wine to drink in the summer. Llano Estacado Winery is the largest, best-selling premium winery in Texas, producing wines of world-class quality and introducing not just Texans but the entire world to the fine wines made in the Lone Star State. Use the code AUDREYMAD20 for 20% off your order if you’re stocking up on some wine for the summer.
Last step for the recipe, put on a cute tee and take pics with your dog and cute drink LOL!! But really, “Dog mother, wine lover” is my new motto. 🙂 Thanks so much for reading today’s post and checkout Llano wine if you haven’t already. XO!
This post was in collaboration with Llano Estacado Winery. All opinions are mine. Thanks for supporting the brands that make AMS possible.
