Leggings and top are from Define (they have great retail!) but linking semi-similar:
Working out has become a MAJOR passion of mine the past 9 months. It’s taken awhile to get into a habit but I’ve grown to love a good sweat haha. I’ve shared before my typical weekly workout routine. But today, I’m sharing ALL about DEFINE: Body & Mind. That’s the full name of the boutique fitness studio I love to go to. I also just call it Define. I’m going to explain more about this studio, I’ve got an interview with the owner below, and am also giving away a free month membership today over on Instagram. Let’s jump in!
I’ve been going to Define for about a year. It will be a year next month!! They have four different types of workouts but I really love to go to barre and their cycle class. I also love their bounce class but I am never available during the times of that one! I’ve shared on IG before how my “power duo” is doing Orangetheory and barre at define weekly. I’ve seen the best results.
What is Define?
Define is a boutique fitness studio offering four different workouts: Rev (cycle), Body (barre), Mind (Hammock yoga), and Bounce (HIIT class on trampoline).
What’s the 30:30 workout? What are the benefits of the 30:30 workouts?
The 30:30 workout is an hour workout combined with 30 mins of rev and 30 mins of body. The two together work to give you a sweat then also tone your muscles. You get a more intense class with cycling and then you go straight into barre where you tone each part of your muscles and then do a little stretching to conclude. It’s the best workout and so fun to get a little mix of both.
How big are classes?
It is a smaller boutique studio so there are around 10-16 people in a class.
Difficulty of workouts?
Completely up to you! The instructors work hard to come up with challenging workouts in all classes but they are alerted when someone new is coming in and they will tailor it to you. They also frequently share when to rest and that it’s okay to take a seat in cycle or take a drink of water so you don’t push yourself too hard.
Cost?
Costs vary but for the unlimited membership, it is $99/month. They also have student, teacher, and nurse discounts.
What is the atmosphere like?
The atmosphere is so fun and inviting. That’s the best part of it being smaller is that the owner connects with everyone and the instructors work hard to know names and encourage you throughout your workout.
