Here’s the thing….. I belong in New York City. When I put together this look I was seriously like, ok I look like I’m running errands in the streets of NYC so obviously I need to live there. Right!? I wish.
But I am going to New York City in May with my best friend and this will be my daily outfit. You can never go wrong with a fresh pair of black Nikes, and an all black/ dark grey outfit. It screams street style to me. You can easily add more comfort to this with just plain black leggings, but I thought leather leggings makes it a more legit outfit. You can even dress this up a little more for casual meetings or dinner with a black blazer instead of the black jacket I have on. This thick grey scarf is fabulous and keeps you extra toasty on those cold days. I also HAD to add a beanie. I’ve had this one for years and I love it. The beige stands out against the black and keeps my ears nice and warm.
Personally, I love street style. I think Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid (the it girls) have a fabulous spin on street style, and it’s inspiring girls all over the world to re-create street looks. (aka me)
I’m beyond ready for the streets of New York…. but I guess the streets of good ole’ Lubbock, Texas will have to do for now, until May. 😉
