Hi lovely! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming SOON. Aka next week haha. I’m trying to get prepared and wanted to share some tips and also what I’ll be shopping for. Last year when I shopped, I bought a bunch of random things. I wore it ALL and loved it ALL but I’m saving for a wedding now and have to be strategic with my shopping lol. I also get a disappointed look from Josh every day a package comes in…. I’m definitely marrying a personal finance major hah. For this years sale, I just want to shop some serious NECESSITIES and things I’ve had my eye on buying.
To begin, I wanted to explain a little about the sale. Basically, it’s a really awesome sale for NEW items that are hugely discounted before they’re added to the store. The best way to shop is through early access. (You have to get the Nordstrom card to do so!) I recommend shopping FAST as things sell out and really grab the main things you need.

Early access begins: July 12
Public access begins: July 20
Sale Ends: August 5
What I’m shopping For At The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Fall Staples:
Booties: I love to grab a neutral pair that can last me through the fall and winter. I LOVE the booties Nordstrom carries, they’re all super comfortable.
Quality Jeans: This is the time I like to grab a pair of 7 For all Mankind jeans or Paige denim!
Chunky sweater: A huge staple for me! I usually grab one or two during the sale.
Activewear:
I feel like all I wear is work clothes and activewear. A lot of my activewear is really old and worn down so I’m ready to toss it and stock up on a few new pieces for this next year.
Leggings – Zella and Alo: Those are both my favorite leggings brand! I’ll probably just get 1 pair this sale.
Tanks and long sleeve tops: I want to grab one long sleeve workout top and a couple of fun breezy tanks to throw on through the fall.
Sports bra’s: Yes!! I only have a couple right now that I like so I want to grab a couple during the Nordstrom anniversary sale.
Breezy shorts: My favorite pair I have is from Ivy Park so I want to get a couple from the sale.
Tennis shoes: I wear mine out all the time!! The sale is the perfect time to grab a new pair! I may go for some Adidas this year.
Accessories:
I typically just grab a new tote bag and a pair of sunglasses during the sale!
