Hey y’all! Happy Monday. How was your weekend?! I spent Saturday taking every single thing out of my closet and putting it all back, very organized. I feel like I can actually function in my closet (& walk in it finally!). On Sunday I tried Orange Theory and then got my butt back in church. So it was such a great weekend!
I also spent some time planning more content for this year and did a little online shopping haha. I recently did a TV segment about some beauty products that are in the new Pantone Color of The Year shade. Have you heard?! This year it’s all about Ultra Violet! I’m especially excited about this because I love light/deep violet eyeshadows. I challenged myself to look for some violet clothing pieces and thought I would challenge y’all too 🙂 I wanted to round up some pieces that caught my eye that are influenced by the new color of the year.
I actually have ZERO purple/ violet clothing pieces but I’m ordering a few of the pieces I shared above because I love this color so much! If you’re not comfortable doing a bright violet color, I also shared a couple light purple or dark purple pieces that are a little easier to wear day to day. Violet is said to be the shade that leads us into the future, so I’m excited to try this shade of color out.
I think this color of the year is really perfect for the Spring in particular. I love pastel shades and can’t wait to see ultra violet play a part in that. What do think!? Are you going to try this color out this year!?
