It’s starting to get a little bit chilly in Lubbock! I especially love the early mornings because I get to throw on a cardigan and get a small glimpse of Fall. There’s something so nice about waking up to a chill in the air, throwing on a sweater and getting a warm cup of coffee. I’m not a HUGE fan of the cold but I love a small chill in the air.
I’m starting to slowly pull out the fall clothes and with that comes allll the booties. There are a few already out in my closet that I like to throw on in the summer with jean shorts and a cute tee. I typically keep my boots hidden until November but It is officially bootie season people!
I think most automatically think booties are just for fall. But truthfully, you can transition them through every season when you pair the right clothes with it. Like I said above, I wear my booties in Spring/Summer with a strapless sundress or jean shorts and graphic tee. I transition them to fall like I did in this post. A pair of ripped denim, a cute tank and if it’s chilly, throw on a small cardigan. From there, when it gets freezing, I don’t always gravitate towards the booties but they are really great shoes to wear when going to dinner or out with friends. Chunky and heavy boots are a pain sometimes so throw on that heavy trench coat, some leggings, and your booties!
I have been searching for a pair of heeled black comfortable booties for forever. I love these from Jambu. The chunky heel is soooo cute dressed up and down and I love the little bit of gold on them. I paired a simple lace tank with my favorite ripped jeans for a chic and edgy look. I would throw on a cardigan with this if it was a little cooler.
