School started yesterday! It was so weird to be back on campus and it be packed. I was taking classes all summer but NO ONE was here and it was empty. I’m going to have to re-adjust to Lubbock being packed again haha.
Life’s been a little crazy lately. The other weekend was amazing and full of our family. Josh moved back to Lubbock, and we moved our little brother and sister into their dorms. We had both Josh and I’s family together and it was SO nice. I can’t even express how happy I am to have our siblings here, it’s nice to have family in Lubbock with us. All of last week was my very last sorority recruitment and let me just say, as fun as it is, I need SLEEP. Haha, but that’s what’s been happening lately and it’s all good times that I’m trying to soak up because it seems like everything this year is going to be a ‘last’ experience.
Today, I only have one class #blessed and I have so many errands to run! I always try to hold off on them until I have a bunch and then I spend one WHOLE day doing them all haha. I’m way more efficient when I have a bunch to do and on a time crunch!
I thought it would be fun to share my typical everyday outfit. Y’all know I’m all about the shorts and a t-shirt look or if I’m feeling a little more dressy, leggings and a cute workout tee it is! I typically wear my adidas but I’ve been living in these amazing navy wedge sneakers. I mean, how can you not love these comfortable wedges?!
I’ve talked about Jambu before but I truly love their shoes for the outdoorsy twist they put on them, and everything is sooo comfortable. I’ve always wanted a platform or wedge sneaker and when I saw these I knew I had to have them. They look relaxed but dress your typical sneaker up a bit more.
I like to pair these with leggings best. I really like how the lace area is more of a sock feeling. I could run miles in these lol. That way, I can run all of my errands looking a little more presentable. What do y’all think about wedge sneakers for your everyday style!?
I’m off to run errands and to try and pull myself together after these last couple weeks of craziness.
