Monday, we meet again. I’m currently writing this Sunday evening from the airport as I just said bye to my Josh. It’s so extremely hard every time I say bye to him. I will admit that our time together has been so sweet this summer as we get so excited, and then it’s heartbreaking when we have to say bye. On Sunday, we celebrated an official year of dating. Although we have been together about a year and a half, one thing I admire about our relationship is that we talked and “dated” for a few months and when we both knew we definitely loved each other was when we made it official.
Although Josh and I do put a lot of our life on the internet through my blog, I do like our relationship to be private. But I will say a few sweet things about my guy. Over the last year, Josh has become more than my boyfriend. He’s become my best friend, my partner, and love of my life. I knew love was real but I never really grasped how sweet, amazing and deep it was until I met Josh. Having a relationship is hard in college, and hard in general, but through our ups and downs, Josh has never let me go a day without making sure I knew I was loved. He makes me laugh when I am extremely overwhelmed or upset, and he has pushed me to be a better person every day. I’ve become soooo attached to him, as this summer apart has really felt like a huge chunk of me and my heart is missing. I’m so thankful for our time together in the last year, and I cannot wait for all the years to come! I prayed for someone like Josh and we are so blessed to have each other. God is so good!
In honor of an official year, although it feels like we’ve been dating for like 10 years, we did a fun July 4th photo shoot. I wanted to share a few of these photos with y’all! All outfit details (including mine and Josh’s) are linked.
We are also launching a couple of different things!!! 🙂 The first, is a new His and Her section on my blog. Once a month, Josh and I will be styling a look together, and this is just to give other couples or just men, outfit ideas.
Along with our life, I’ve shared Josh quite a few times throughout my blog and Instagram stories. We always get DM’s and questions about our relationship so we have actually launched a VLOG channel on Youtube 🙂 We would love for y’all to subscribe and it will pick up once a week in September! Until then, it will just have a few more videos coming for the summer.
We have a couple more ideas and platforms coming as well but until then, I wanted to tell y’all about these two. We are so thankful to have all of y’all following along our life and I’m SO grateful for those reading my blog. This is my passion and I love sharing my style and beauty tips.
