Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Long time no talk too. Last week ended up being a lot more busy than I expected so only one post went up. But I’m happy to be talking to y’all again on this Monday 🙂Â
I had the most amazing weekend. One of my other roommates that’s home for the summer came into town and we got to meet our new house pet that will be living with us this fall. She is an ADORABLE golden doodle named Piper and we LOVE her. Josh also came into town and I couldn’t stop crying because I was just so happy to see him. He is my BEST friend and this whole long distance thing is super tough on me. Luckily, I’ll be seeing him again this weekend.
So that’s a little weekend re-cap BUT let’s get to the post. I love bodysuits because they’re easy, flattering, and can be dressed down or up in so many ways. I recently received this leaf print bodysuit that I have been loving. The fabric is kind of swimsuit like so I want to wear it to the pool as well one of these days. I’ve worn it during the day and also out at night.
Daytime: If I’m wearing a body suit to take from day to night, I typically wear shorts with it and trade them out for nicer ones at night. For the day, I choose jean shorts and a few light summer accessories for by the pool, running errands, brunch, you name it.
To Night: To take your look to nighttime, you can easily trade in the denim shorts for a cute skirt, but for the sake of this bodysuit, I paired it with these amazing scalloped lace up shorts. Add in nicer shoes, even heels, and a few accessories like a dainty necklace and statement earrings and that’s your daytime look turned night 🙂
Finding pieces that can easily be taken from day to night are crucial to have in your closet. Whether it’s $10 or $100, having items you can wear for multiple occasions are great investments.
