Almost a week away from Cinco De Mayo! I wish I could insert that little red dress dancing girl emoji here now haha. I somehow always forget Cinco De Mayo and then it happens and I’m like… WAIT no this holiday is so fun can we rewind so I can get my embroidered tops and fun hats on. And also make sure I eat tex-mex for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?? For my out-of-state readers… how do y’all even live without tex-mex? Coming from someone who was born in North Carolina and lived in different states for 14 years, I really don’t know how I even once did it.

I think we can quickly forget this is a holiday, but especially if you’re a texan, how can you not celebrate this day? Any day you can wear fun clothes, drink margs, and get some Tacos is a day to celebrate. This Cinco de Mayo dress from Chicwish made me instantly think of the holiday. I’ve been loving embroidered clothing pieces lately and the colors on this dress, plus stripes… um hellloooo beauty. Like most college students, my friends and I thoroughly enjoy Fuzzy’s. So, that’s where we will be this Cinco De Mayo 😉 And y’all KNOW I’ll be sporting my embroidered dress and fun yellow or red statement earrings.
