Say hello to my favorite top at the moment!!! When I first started seeing the embroidery trend, I was a little skeptical to try it. I thought it was super cute, but not my style. When I saw this one I really loved the ruffles and decided to give it a go. Welp, I’m converted. Haha. I LOVE this top so much. It’s my go-to when Josh calls me and says to meet him for dinner or that we’re going out. I just love how a simple embroidered pattern can add so much to a plain button up shirt. I like it paired best with denim bottoms and then any kind of shoe whether casual or dressed up.
This was my favorite day on our trip to New Orleans. I wrote here all about what we did each day. We rented bikes on this day and rode them throughout the Garden District. I also watched my sweet boyfriend almost get run over about 8 different times and I would just stop and yell at him for being so reckless and that I could never live without him. Seriously, this guy was just riding throughout SUPER busy streets and cars were everywhere and he was just doing his own thing. Meanwhile I’m behind going slow and cautious screaming every time he would cut in front of a car. He gives me minor heart attacks sometimes….
We would stop in front of little stores we thought were cute or fun ice cream shops. My favorite was the Affogato bar. It was homemade ice cream with your choice of espresso that you poured on top of it. Talk about heaven. I think we both devoured ours in 5 minutes. New Orleans is full of so much character and renting a bike for a few hours is a must-do. You get to see the different areas in a fun way and you’re able to stop when you see something you like.
At night, we went to a really cool restaurant and I just put on jeans (because it was FREEZING at night there) and changed my shoes. I didn’t want to take this top off. Afterwards, we went to a rooftop bar and this top was still appropriate for the occasion.
Enough of me reminiscing my fun days in Nola… BUT this embroidered top may or may not be worn tonight for a blogger happy hour with some local West Texas blogger friends. So excited! Thanks for reading today! 😉 Shop The Post:
