There is one more day left in 2016! Can you believe it?
2016 was one of the best years of my life. I feel like every year leading up to 2016 I was always leaving each year in pain and in hopes, begging the lord to bring me positivity and happiness the next year. Well, he definitely blessed me with it in 2016. It was a year of friendships and relationships I’ve prayed for my whole life. It was a year of my head and heart getting ‘settled’ and a year of just being happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better year of love, travel, and family. But, I have a really good feeling about 2017 too. To ring in this fabulous New Year… I have like zero plans. haha. Josh and I are spending our first New Years Eve together and while I would love to spend it out and about in Uptown, my sweet guy would rather stay and celebrate with my family. So, we have fairly early dinner plans in the downtown area, we are going to see fireworks and walk around for a bit, and then we will be heading back to my parents house to watch the ball drop and drink some champagne! A nice and quiet New Years. 🙂
Even though we don’t have extravagant plans….I’m still going to be sporting this amazing sparkly-sequin dress! For less than $60, this is the perfect special occasion dress. Even though you can’t order it in time for NYE, it makes the perfect birthday dress too. Doing a little pattern-play with some snake skin heels and mixing in a little pink, this look is my NYE outfit dream!
