Hi y’all!
Thanks for checking back for outfit 2 of my festival looks! If you haven’t seen Outfit 1, you can do so
here.
This was day 2 of the festival and definitely my FAVORITE outfit. I don’t know what it is about this one, maybe the hair or makeup or the way everything comes together but I love it.
If you can’t tell by now, my style is more of a mature relaxed style with a hint of southern accents every once in awhile. My style is not bohemian…. But for some reason, I really wanted to go for the full on hippie/boho look for this day. I felt wayyyy out of my comfort zone for this, but I loved changing my style up for a day! Not sure you will ever see me dress like this again…. so had to snap lots of pictures to remember haha.
I braided my hair in pigtails because it was so extremely hot each day and with all 45,000+ people there, having it down made things so annoying. I layered back on all of my jewels, only switching out a few. I went for a complete gold accessory look. This top was perfect for the occasion because it’s so lightweight and breezy. I love how open the back is and the light lace detail. I got these denim shorts from Aritzia the day before and they ended up being perfect for the occasion and an awesome length on me. I wore the same fanny pack and sandals as the first outfit as well!
I loved this day!! We watched Kendrick Lamar (the craziest thing ever!!), Kygo, Robin Schulz, Milky Chance, Young the Giant, and others of course. The best memory of this day was when it rained. It was a disaster because my top is very thin… and white… and we got SOAKED around 5 pm. We all huddled under the tree area and practically froze to death. After about 30 minutes, we remembered going into this mosh pit section on one of the stages that constantly played rap/edm music. We went to it for a bit friday night and everyone is so close and dancing that you burn right up. We sprinted in the rain to this stage and got right into the middle and I kid you not… after 5 minutes I was dry and warm (kinda gross that that many bodies together can do that, that fast!)
Thanks for reading and remember to check back tomorrow for the last outfit of the festival!
