I’m so excited to be revealing a look into my college space! I planned SO much for this room over the summer and too see it all decorated and put together gives me so much joy. This space is a full representation of me, which includes my blog too. It’s a space I love spending time in and coming home to. Another reason why I never go out anymore… I just love my home!
Growing up…. I was always a huge home body. Especially when I started high school I never really enjoyed sleep overs, or going to camp. By the time my senior year began, you can ask my best friends… I felt so mean because they would always want to sleep over or have me spend the night and I was always like uh… sorry no. I never understood why I wasn’t a normal girl and enjoyed staying up late with girl friends and have sleep overs but being the independent, home body I am, it was clear that those weren’t my cup of tea. Living in the house I live in now is so awesome because I live with three other friends and so I get to feel like I’m having never ending sleep overs every night…. but still get the feeling that I have my own space and can shut my door to everything at any time I want. But, when I wanna socialize I can just go to my living room and girls are always there. I love it.
As y’all can see… I went for a very feminine, all white, with pops of colors, girly theme. That’s a lot??? Haha but I made all of the big furniture white and decorated with soft pink and added more color with my pillows. I must say, my desk area is my all time favorite. It’s just my happy corner with quotes/ a gallery wall that inspires me daily, and helps contribute to making sure I get all my blog work done. This room was so awesome as it also let me fit in a dresser that I turned into a vanity as well. I get so giddy looking at these photos and writing this post because I just want to go home from my class right now and be in my room, I seriously love it that much!!!! lol.
The only thing I would change is my headboard, as it’s very masculine and doesn’t go with this room but it’s what worked with my budget and something my family already had. I think it’s important for every one to have a space they love and something that makes them want to be home and enjoy spending quality alone time. I love my friends and spending time with them but there is nothing like a couple hours to yourself to rest your mind and be happy.

Majority of the things in my room are from Ikea, Home Goods, and Z Gallerie which unfortunately… I can’t link at all through LTK.it. But I tried finding as many dupes for everything as I could!
