Texas Tech Dorm Rooms Tour

Long time no talk y’all! I had multiple requests to make a Texas Tech dorm rooms post and about how I decorated my dorm so here it is!

Saying that I’m obsessed with my dorm is an understatement. My roomie and I both have the same taste in stuff so it was awesome to agree and match our whole room together! Her side is pretty much identical just with her own touches of decorations.

When you walk into our Texas Tech dorm room (we’re on the corner so we have a bit more space) you immediately see our sink. We do have a community bathroom…. #nothankyou but it’s honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. At least we have our own sink! Once you’re into our room, on your left is our closets and vanity areas.

We actually have a ton of storage in our Texas Tech dorm rooms #blessed which is so awesome! Our vanity is old but hey, it works! Then to your right, is our beds, desk, fridge, tv, etc.

Our beds pull out… so they actually go in during the day to give us more space and they pull out to a pretty decent length at night when we want to sleep. Above our bed, you get a bulletin board. Girls get SO creative with this! My roomie and I decided to get these custom built shelves and decorate them with some fun pieces. If you can’t tell… our rooms color scheme is mainly black, white, gold, and turquoise so we stuck to that! On the other side of our bed, we have our desks! I use mine as a study/makeup desk! I like to get ready sitting down so I got a few makeup drawers from Muji Drawer and put them into the shelves! I have more than enough space to get ready and still do my homework. (Don’t worry dad!! I study!!)

So that’s our homey little space!! Living in Texas Tech dorm rooms is such a change from home, especially since I like my OWN space… but I’m soaking in every bit of it and enjoying it while it lasts! I linked a few of the decor pieces below if y’all are interest as well. Thanks for reading!
