PREFERENCE NIGHT OUTFIT
Happy Monday! The crazy few weeks have begun… I spent all weekend moving into my new house in Lubbock with my girl friends. Thanks so so much to my family and boyfriend for helping me move all my junk stuff into my new room. I can’t wait to share what it looks like with y’all. But, today starts work week!!!! YAY 🙂 Next week is rush week and then the Monday after that I start school and say goodbye to any social life I once had lol. Between running this blog and now taking 18 hours this fall… I’ll be stuck in my home office 24 hours a day! lol. So definitely soaking in these next two crazy weeks with my best gals. It’s so good to be back LBK, and never thought I’d say that 😉
I shared this recruitment outfit ideas post last Thursday and today I wanted to share how I would dress this year to Preference night. This night is the most important night and more intimate. You’re down to usually two sororities and you most likely know which one you want your home to be. This Preference night I KNEW I wanted to go zeta. Last year I wore a black lace dress, statement earrings, and the same snake skin heels for pref night. This year I wanted to re-create another look with the trends this year and share with y’all.
I ended up choosing a simple, plain dress for this year’s Preference Night. I think these are the most comfortable and you can let your personality show through your accessories. I paired my favorite heels of all time and then added in some jewelry. Of course, the major trend right now is chokers so I tied one of those around my neck but didn’t stop there. I wanted to show that my style is girly so I paired one of my favorite, most obnoxious, statement necklaces. This one is just a beauty of its own!! Added some marble (because we all know that is so in) earrings and voila! DONE.
