Happy Friday y’all!
I am SOO excited it’s the weekend..I am actually in a car headed back home to Dallas for the weekend to see my family, pups, and cats. I cannot explain how excited I am to sleep in my bed and just have girl time with my momma and sister.
Last weekend though, If you follow me on instagram (which you should!) then you would know it was parents weekend and my mom and dad came to LBK for some fun.
Friday night, we had our presentation for Zeta Tau Alpha and afterwards we went to Louie Louie’s Piano Bar which was so much fun and perfect for my parents and I. What I love about getting older, is that I can actually hangout with my parents and it not be weird. I love being able to go to a bar with them and it be casual and fun.
Saturday was of course…. The TCU vs. Tech game.. and despite the sad loss… it was still such a fun day. I got to take my parents around and show them the tailgate I go to and introduce them to all of the awesome friends I’ve made so far. I wore this outfit for the game and it was perfectly appropriate for a weekend full of parents around. I got this dress for a GREAT deal over the summer at Zara. The back has this crumpled detail while the front is structured. I layered my monogram necklace with my longer kendra scott tassel necklace to spice up this simple dress. Oh & of course I had to add the cowboy boots… how can you not when you live in Texas.
