Is this rainbow wall not seriously amazing!? My friend and I were in Brooklyn for a day during our NYC trip and I made SURE that we wouldn’t leave without finding this perfect rainbow wall.
During this day in Brooklyn, we got off the subway at 10 am in our destination. We walked around a few different parts (I had never been to Brooklyn out of all the years I’ve come to NYC) and then stopped to meet my friends cousin at a super yummy brunch place called The Vanderbilt. I highly recommend it!
The rest of the day we made our way towards Dumbo (which is where this rainbow wall is), walked along the water, then crossed the gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan. Her cousin is an architect and works at this amazing building in Tribeca. He took us up to his rooftop and the views were incredible. I admire the rooftop life in New York. I l just love how people put chairs, gardens, pools, etc. on the rooftops in New York City. The weather was a little chilly but gorgeous and sunny at the same time. I grabbed this top for $20 at my local H&M right before my trip as well as these glorious tassel earrings for only $9.99. Talk about a great shopping day right!? I love affordable, trendy items!! I wish I would’ve worn some nikes or something with this look because all of the walking in shoes like the ones I have on, left me with at least 7 blisters. 🙁
I really adored exploring Brooklyn and its rainbow wall this day, it was so much fun. I also had this concept that Brooklyn was just kind of gross (I blame Gossip Girl) but it was so lovely and full of families, definitely recommend checking it out if you visit and have the time. I have two more NYC posts coming within the next week or two so definitely keep a look out.
Thanks for reading and have a blessed Monday!
