Hi friends! Happy Friday. Currently coming back from Nashville (will round those places up next week) but wanted to share more about Josh & I’s staycation in Frisco last weekend with The Westin Dallas Stonebriar.
We had a ton of Memorial Day plans over in Frisco / Lake Lewisville so we figured we’d head over there for the full weekend. I grew up staying at The Westin properties with my parents and have always been a fan. I especially love that they’re dog friendly so Marley girl was able to come with us. The Westin Stonebriar is also a Golf & Spa resort! Josh wants to go back and play a round of golf there too.
The rooms are spacious, the property is gorgeous and in a fabulous location in Frisco. They have a pool, outdoor game area, Topgolf Swing suite, and so much more.
They had a ton of Memorial Day activities going on all weekend which was SO fun for kids! We mainly just relaxed by the pool and lounged around. There was a movie playing on a big screen outside one night and we sat out there, drank wine, and watched.
They have three restaurants/ places to grab food available:
- Beans and Barrel: Loved this spot for coffee and they had really good breakfast options. They also have 24-hour grab and go products as well as a great dinner menu and lounge.
- Herd and Hearth: We didn’t get to try this one but it is currently open for breakfast daily.
- Ranch Water: Outdoor pool restaurant and bar. We ordered through here all day on Saturday while laying by the pool.
Some other restaurants nearby I really like: Cantina Laredo, Kenny’s burger joint, and then Legacy West right down the road as well.
Love any excuse to get out of our apartment on a weekend! We had a ton of fun MDW- it was a busy one!!
