Today there is a special Sunday post! Hope your weekend has been amazing… I am over the moon to finally have our wedding video. Josh and I watched it Friday night and tears were streaming. I’m so excited to share it with you all, as y’all have shared this journey of getting married with us too.
My friend Jack, is the one who made this video, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the emotional flashback to this day. It truly covers all of the big, special parts.
I also wanted to share WHY having a videographer was so important to me and why we cut other things out in order to afford it. I know some people get on the fence about videographers for weddings and it’s totally up to your preference. You may only care majorly about photos or vice versa. For me, our wedding video was #1 priority to me. Photos last a lifetime and our wedding photos are seriously my favorite thing in the world don’t get me wrong. But videos capture your day in real-time so raw and emotionally. Really helps you “re-live” that day over and over.
I love that I can listen to some of the speeches, see Josh’s reaction to me, dancing with my dad live, and see our friends all partying and having a good time together. THIS is so special to me and why I wanted to share that if you are on the fence for a videographer, DO IT. You will never regret it!!
Now that we have this video, it’s kind of bitter-sweet as it feels like I’m closing the wedding chapter. Thanks for coming along the ride with us, supporting me through our engagement, all the kind messages on our wedding day, and for following us through our honeymoon in Bali. I cherish you guys so much!
Although the wedding chapter of Josh and I’s life may have closed, I am so excited for all of the next life stages we get to encounter together the rest of our life.
