Finally rounding up some dining room details + a table setup idea for Thanksgiving / the Holiday’s. I think our dining table (sold out but this is similar, from same website) was my BIGGEST furniture splurge for this house… and our light fixture which I call “furbie” is such a hot topic. Not everyone likes her but she’s a major statement everyone talks about when they walk in.
I’m still working on our dining chair (similar in stock) situation…. I’m thinking about painting our current chairs black (where the wood is) and then I have two upholstered chairs picked out for the ends of the table I need to order.
I was SO excited to decorate our dining table this year! Our dining room is open to our living room so people see it right when they walk in. I wanted to keep with my light neutral theme I have around the house while adding in some greenery and texture. Keep reading for links!
Runner Details: Runner | Pinecones | Garland | Candlesticks (similar) | Wooden Trees | Small ceramic trees | Vase | Dried Flowers
Place Settings: Plates | Napkins | Flatware | Wine Glasses | Thanksgiving place settings
I am obsessed with how the table turned out. The pinecones and garland give it that “natural nature” feel while the candles and runner tie it all together and make it extra homey. I kept the plates simple with napkins that I tied with twine and actually cut some of our front yard mini christmas trees for small twigs to slide into the napkin.
You could also buy a small rosemary bush from the store and cut some twigs from there as well. I think the wood place settings really make the sweetest statement on the table and those are from a local Etsy shop. They have all different colors and themes.
What do y’all think!? I was thinking about hosting a Friendsgiving but now all my weekends / weekdays are tied haha. Maybe something in December then!
