We’ve officially been in our home almost 4 months! Why does it feel like it’s been 6 though? I shared in our first home post that we bought a 3 bedroom home. One of those rooms is my office while the other two are functioning bedrooms. It’s so nice to have a proper guest bed finally for when family or friends visit. Our guest bedroom is thankfully DONE but the master still has a few things it needs. But wanted to go ahead and link and share photos of the bedrooms here.
Decor: Lamps | Blanket | Comforter | Antelope Pillow
The guest bed is a cumulation of all the few pieces I loved and kept from our previous apartment. The nightstands were ours in our last place- just love the mid century look to them. The headboard (similar) was mine back in high school actually and goes so well with out home. The big mirror was from my last office space and the chest in front of the bed is a hope chest and was my great grandmothers. It’s perfect for storing blankets!
What really added the prettiest final touch in here was the fan. This is the Ronan Fan by Hunter Fan Company and it’s every bit of chic and fabulous which says a lot for a fan. We are hot-natured people so fans in the bedrooms is a must but I love how these still went with our home aesthetic. This is one is whisper quiet and wobble free- perfect for guests when they stay!
Decor: Lumbar Pillow | Comforter | Velvet Curtains | Olive Tree | Record Player
When designing the Master Bedroom space and buying furniture pieces, I wanted a light neutral and minimal space. I work from home so I wanted to be able to come into my bedroom at night and be calm and at peace. This space doesn’t overwhelm me and really helps me wind down at night and separate from my work. The bed is my favorite and a ‘dupe’ for the oh so luxurious Restoration Cloud bed. I fell in love with these waterfall nightstands months ago and love how they pulled the room together. I went for the sconce route over lamps to keep our stands clutter free.
In front of our bed…. I struggled to find a dresser large enough for my husband and I. We have TINY closets in this house so a large dresser was a must. This one is actually TWO dressers put together and it works perfectly! I love it so much.
For our light fixture, we of course went the fan route. This one is the Aerodyne fan and it has SIMPLEconnect technology that connects to your Google Assistant or Alexa to turn off and on which is so nice and convenient. Love the sleek black look to it!
We installed the fans ourselves and it was pretty easy! Hunter Fan Company has a great selection of fans without compromising style- they’ve been changing the ceiling fan industry for 135 years now.
