So for all of 2020 I struggled with terrible adult acne. I shared more about that in this post if you’re interested. Once I got it under control in January of this year, I started working on my hyper pigmentation, rosacea, and other skin concerns. I’ve thankfully had pretty clear skin for almost 6 months now and it’s been such a blessing. Below is a picture of my current skin right now!
Today I wanted to share some products that have really helped with my skin the last 6 months. I think once you tackle acne, it’s important to keep using products and doing treatments that continue to make your skin better.
First product that has been FABULOUS is my Agency Future Formula. Agency is brought to you by the same people who brought you Curology FYI! Agency creates custom formulas for you based on your skincare needs and future goals… plus it evolves with you over time.
You take a quiz, send in some pictures of your skin, and a dermatology provider sends you a recommended formula. From there, you do check ins and they evaluate and transition your formula with you. Another plus is that Agency is known for helping with preventative anti-aging.
You can see below what my custom formula is. I have the Future Formula which targets fine lines, discoloration, and texture but they also offer a Dark Spot Formula which targets sun spots, melasma, acne spots, etc. The formula has 4 active ingredients + aloe and Vitamin E. I put about a pump of product on every night after cleansing and toners but before moisturizer. It’s a cream product and it doesn’t dry my skin out which is a major plus.
Lastly, I love that it complements my existing skincare routine as well. Give Agency a try with a 1-month free trial here. You just have to pay the $4.95 shipping & handling fee.
Here’s my lineup that is specifically helping with the spots left on my skin. I shared the Future Formula above, but here are the other products I use in addition.
Beautycounter Vitamin C Serum: My morning serum that helps brighten and even the skin. It has turmeric in it as well so it smells amazing.
GlowOff Dark Spot Toner: I’ve used this a little over a year after it was the most recommended product on my page from y’all. It’s fabulous and smells really good… not too harsh on the skin either.
Good Genes: A lactic-acid treatment I do about once a week that helps with cell turnover. It basically exfoliates the skins surface level and leaves you with brighter, fresh looking skin. Also amazing for pores!
This post was in collaboration with Agency Skincare. Thanks for supporting the brands that make AMS possible.
