Hump dayyyyy!!! Whoohoo. My parents are coming to Lubbock today for like 36 hours so they can move my sister into her new apartment. She’s been living with Josh and I the last 2 weeks and while it’s been fun…… I’m so ready for our apartment to be CLEAN again lol. I feel like between my clothes and her clothes it’s just been a disaster… poor Josh haha. I’m also upgrading my car this week…. I LOVE my car but y’all know I shoot like 5-6 outfits each week and am constantly changing in my car. I couldn’t do the small car anymore so am upgrading to an SUV!!!! Yayyy…. I’m seriously pumped. My lil sis is getting my car so at least I get to keep it close to me lol. I’ve been looking for a good seat cover thing for dogs?? I’ve seen them but can’t find one. Any recommendations?
Whenever I do polls on Instagram or make stories asking what y’all wanna see. You always send so many great ideas! I’ve got a ton of them on my calendar for September. One idea someone through my way was more looks that works for EVERY occasion. I hear ya girl. I like to get the most bang for my buck too. I wanted to share this cute star blouse with y’all and how I styled it, how you can style it, and also how we can all style it for different things.
HOW I STYLED THIS CUTE STAR BLOUSE:
First of all, can we talk about how cute it is!? It’s such a fun take on a basic button up. I styled it a little more trendy with my wedges, lace-up shorts (40% off right now!), and my new tote. I tucked one side of the shirt in and unbuttoned the top pretty low to make it a little sexy. I wore this exact look out to drinks with some girls the other week. If you have a similar blouse or get this star blouse, wear it like this for a date night out or GNO to the bar.
HOW YOU CAN STYLE IT FURTHER:
For work:
For work, button this all the way to the top haha. I love the sophisticated button up with the collar. I’d pair with dark denim if you’re in a casual work space or white slacks in a dressier space. Add some mules or heels and your work bag and you’re set.
For play again:
The way I styled it, is how I typically style it for a night or day out. BUT another way, is unbuttoning the entire thing and wearing like an open shirt/cardigan. Pair a cute white lace tank underneath and a mini skirt with block heels. SO CUTE. I think I’ll wear it like that this weekend haha.
For Fall:
And, of course, a colder option. This star blouse buttoned up, high-waisted denim, cute white booties, and a fur vest. Maybe even a cute felt hat too!
