Hey gals!! How was your Easter weekend!? I hope it was amazing!! I’m heading back to Lubbock today and already know I’ll have a busy week ahead. At least it’s only a 4-day work week! Josh and I get the keys to our place May 1. We both won’t be moving in until about May 17 but we are SO excited. Since we get the keys May 1 I’m going to slowly take my time and move-in what we have and get us organized. We are moving into Park East in Lubbock. We LOVED getting to tour this place and everything it had to offer.
I’ve been day dreaming A LOT about how we will decorate and loved working on an apartment mood board. I will definitely say we are going for a chic but affordable apartment. Budget is our main concern and while we will be adding a few new additions, we are repurposing a lot of my furniture and Josh’s to make it our own. I thought I would share some pieces I’ve got my eyes on with y’all and some overall inspiration for each room we will have.

Our kitchen is my favorite part of our place. I LOVE the white quartz and stainless steel appliances. There isn’t going to be much to add other than barstools for it but I also want a pop of color with a fun runner. I’m thinking a blue and gray runner and then I definitely want gray tufted bar stools.

We are getting a really awesome brown leather couch from my parents so I’ve been trying to find some inspiration around that. I didn’t really want any brown or black in our home. So we are going to go around the brown couch and add white and gray accents with it. I’m thinking a white cowhide, gold glass table, and lots of white throw pillows to brighten up the room. For behind the couch, I was thinking a big fun print behind the couch or a mirror.

For the bedroom, we are doing all mirror furniture (bedside tables, chest, etc.) I want all white bedding with gray and white pillows. We have a gray tufted headboard and I’m thinking simple gold bedside lamps. I’ve had a very jam-packed bedroom the last two years since my office has been inside it too…. SO I really want our room to be simple, breathable, and as minimal as possible. I can’t decide what we should put above our headboard on the wall… I’m thinking two or three coordinating prints like the above picture.

And last but not least, my office!!! Eeek, it’s going to be a small space but I can’t wait to have a dedicated office area. I want this to be my girly space so white, gold, and pink are definitely in order for the theme 😉 I’ll have my white desk, a white shag rug, and I really want some gold bookcases. I’ll probably have a gallery wall, vanity area, and also a fun wallpaper wall. I can’t wait to see this space come alive! I love how glam the two above images are.
