Yep. We’re talkin’ alllll about breakouts today. We’re all human and it happens to the best of us. I’m excited to share how I get my breakouts under control with Zapzyt when they happen!
A little background on my skin: I had terrible acne in high school. Like so bad. I was embarrassed to not wear makeup around my own family because I was so insecure about it. I had it for a good two years and even after trying everything possible, I couldn’t clear it up. Last summer we were in Hawaii, and I tried a retinol that did the trick! I think it was also my body changing a lot but I cleared it up within a month.
I’ve gone a whole full year of clear skin, and a happy heart. I don’t wear makeup to class or the grocery store and I feel confident. That was something I never thought I may be able to do again.
Of course, outside of the acne free skin I have 90% of the time, I typically get a pimple or two (always cystic) on my chin or forehead every few months due to stress, little sleep, and poor diet/no water intake. It absolutely sucks but accepting that we all get acne at certain times in life and trying your best to take care of it will help it go away in no time.
My steps when a pimple pops up:
When a pimple pops up on my face, I instantly wash my skin and take an exfoliating face scrub to get any and all dirt off my skin. I don’t want any extra pimples coming up and that one on my face is typically also from poor washing at night. I like to do this in the shower and my skin instantly feels new.
Straight out of the shower, I apply my acne cream. I really enjoy the Zapzyt acne cream. I also love to use their face wash as well when I have acne and their pore treatment gel when my pores are looking a little too large. I apply the cream right to my problem areas and let it sit on my skin until it’s dry. This stuff is amazing at drying out pimples and killing bacteria. I actually just had the worst pimple on my chin that was gone in 3 days thanks to this stuff. I always have them on my face for like two weeks. PS. You can buy Zapzyt online or in Walmart!
I think the first reaction to zits is drying everything out. While yes, I recommend drying out the small area, don’t neglect the rest of your skin, or you will soon see it ALL breaking out because it will over compensate for the moisture it needs. Drink lots of water and use a light, but rich moisturizer that won’t irritate your skin.
Lastly, this is an unpopular opinion and maybe TMI…But, when my pimples look like they need to be popped, I’m sorry but I’m popping them. I totally agree with not messing with your face and touching them, but if the thing is physically noticeable that it need to be popped, I do it. I’ve never had any issues with it, and fully believe my skin goes back to normal after this. Once I pop the zit, I like to top it with Neosporin to calm it yet kill whatever bacteria is left, and I will put a bandaid on my face so I don’t mess with it again. (yes, on my face). I usually only do this at night so the problem area can rest overnight.
Like I said, if I break out, it’s not typically a small white head, it’s usually one or two terribly painful cystic pimples. Those used to take 2 weeks to go away, and with this routine I say bye bye to them within 3 days and it’s amazing! Thanks Zapzyt!
