I love anything denim. Denim skirts, jeans, denim shorts, denim tops, the list goes on. Denim is timeless and will continue to be. Styling denim is pretty easy as well when you think of denim as like a neutral, then you pair everything else around it. Styling a denim skirt works just about the same way as styling a pair of jeans. You can wear a denim skirt casual or dressed up. I’m styling it both ways in this post today to show y’all how you can style it yourself.
Style #1: Casual
This may not be everyone’s version of casual but this is typically mine. A graphic tee, sneakers, and light accessories. As you can see I tucked in the graphic tee to slim the look of this outfit. Since my top was tighter, it looks best tucked into the skirt. Throw some fun kicks on and you’re rocking some cute athleisure.
Style #2: Dressy
The second look is a lot more dressy and another way to style the denim skirt. Wedges, a flowy cute top, and a girly choker. Since my top was lower cut and flowy, I don’t like to tuck it in and just leave it out to show a small bit of the jean skirt. It’s a super flirty look and my favorite way to wear it.
Denim skirts are all the trend right now and there are a TON of options throughout stores right now.
