Seriously wishing I could go back to this brunch. Cafe J is like an every other week occasion for me TBH. I live 5 seconds away from it and whenever Josh says a date night out, I say Cafe J. Whenever my girlfriends say brunch or my momma comes to town, I say Cafe J 😉 Lubbock actually has some really awesome restaurants. I’ve talked before that Lubbock was a huge culture shock for me coming from Dallas, and being spoiled with the best of the best food in D-town, I struggled with Lubbock. If only we had some good sushi here I would be SET. But until then, I have quite a few restaurants I adore here and Cafe J is at the very top of that list.Â
I recently came across quite a few lovely bloggers here in West Texas and Ashlee, of Little Lovelies was so sweet to put together a brunch for all of us. All these gorgeous girlies are married and most have darling babies, but I still had more fun with them than I do with some college friends honestly lol….#oldsoul. I love getting together with bloggers because we all understand how much hard work goes into this. I adored getting to sit with them and hear their stories and all about their families.
The morning of this brunch was pretty chilly so I wore my favorite denim jeans, light pink button up top, my most worn heeled booties, and of course my camo jacket. I’ve been wearing this thing non-stop y’all and it’s under $20 now!!!! I styled it in a more athletic way in this post but I wanted y’all to see how you can style it in a more dressy way too. Just a versatile fun piece.
