Hey y’all, happy Monday!
A couple things here….
- Do you see the new site!? What do yall think!? I’ve put a lot of thought into a new design for this blog and it’s amazing to see it live and all together. I have a wide variety of style but my go-to is a bright, feminine, look. I wanted my site to represent that and I loooove how it turned out.
- I took last week off from the blog…. As most of y’all know, I was in New Orleans and while I had plenty of time to write posts and have them up, I chose not to. This blog consumes so much of me and while I absolutely love the crap out of it, I’ve been drained. Between school, working a side job, and other obligations in my life while still putting in 15+ hours a week into this blog I’ve been in desperate need for a break. I took this last week to sleep, not do anything, and enjoy myself and detox from the whole world. I feel so much happier, refreshed, and ready to write again. I hope yall understand!
- Lastly, If you’re on Instagram, and haven’t downloaded the new Liketoknow.it app, you must do it now! NEW ORLEANS INSTAGRAM ROUNDUP
I’ve got a whole NOLA itinerary coming for y’all, but until then I thought I would share a small Instagram roundup from our trip. All looks are affordable and SUPER cute for Spring. XOXO
A shot from right before we went on our trip! My Marc Fisher wedges were the best investment and sooo worth the money. My sunglasses are sold out but I linked a cheaper, similar option. 
Beauty Brands is hosting their annual hairspray sale! These are some of my favorites and most are on sale for $10 y’all. They also have a $10 blowout promotion going on too.
We were home in Dallas for two days before driving to New Orleans. This was my look for church and #SundayFunday. We got the most delicious brunch and relaxed the rest of the day. My loafers are under $20!!!! Such a steal.
Annnnd…. the #nola adventures and New Orleans Instagram begin. This was a shot from our first morning. We sat in the Cafe Du Monde line and started our day with the most delicious beignets and cafe au lait’s.
Ok… if you saw this on Instagram, then you know everyone obsessed over this top! I have a whole post coming about it but it’s SO freaking adorable and full of ruffles. For the price, it’s a MUST HAVE spring top.
Eeeek I miss this darling place. If you don’t want to wait in the line for Cafe Du Monde, Cafe Beignet is a great choice! Delicious beignets and coffee, an ADORABLE little interior, and lots of food options. Josh loved this better because we were able to get beignets AND bacon, fruit, sandwiches, and all the food we wanted 🙂 It was freezing in New Orleans and I had packed for 80 degree weather so I stopped in H&M and grabbed this cute metallic bomber.
A little bike riding through the beautiful Garden District. This was my favorite day. And probably one of my favorite looks. Embroidered everything is super in trend right now. (Go up a size in the shorts!)
Last but not least, this fun little dress goes with heels and sneakers! A true day to night dress. I wore this for a day of lots of walking and eating 😉
