Welllllll, I’m all packed up and headed back to Lubbock today. I’m going to miss my family so much but am excited to get back to my home. I wish I would’ve stayed a little longer but I was in desperate need of my every day work schedule to be back again. I now have time to hit the new year hard and plan blog content. I love going home but it’s good to get back to my other home too.
I have about two good weeks to get organized, plan for the spring, and do some early spring cleaning in my house. (AKA: take down the christmas tree 🙁 ) It will be great to re group and refresh my household.
While I was in Dallas for two weeks, I drove back and forth to Austin a few times. Each for a few days at a time, and I traveled easily with my weekender bag. This bag is my GO-TO and a great purchase for those weekend trips home, or road trips with friends. It packs about 2-4 days worth of clothes, etc. perfectly. Usually when packing, I like to go through a typical day in my head and pack every beauty product and skincare product into a mini cosmetic bag. I usually pack a straightening iron, then strategically plan an outfit for each day and one or two casual outfits. With the exception of shoes…. I usually wear a pair and then pack one and carry another. Packing is a pain but not when you’re packing up into the cutest duffel. This is a great birthday gift to give the traveller or even spoil yourself with this weekender this new year if you go on weekend trips frequently.
