It’s a special Sunday today! I figured I would try out a post on this day today, as I know most spend Sunday’s lounging and resting. My Sunday’s are typically busy and a work day for the blog. On today’s agenda: Church, blog photos, grocery shopping, cleaning up the house, and waiting for one of my roomies to get home! I’ve been keeping our house cozy the last week but I miss my girls and having them around so much. I live with three other girls and one is coming into town today so tonight will be much needed girl talk.
On Friday, we got this beautiful flurry white stuff! Lol. It’s not often that we get snow in Texas and when we do it’s kind of a big deal. I put miss Marley in her sweater and we headed out for a walk and to take some photos, since we only get to take photos in snow like once a year. I wish we got it a little more often though- bundling up in beanies and scarves and opening up your windows to an all white ground is so special.
My quilted coat is SO warm- if you live in the North and want another large coat, this one kept me warm all day and I love the pockets to store my phone in. I layered it with a cashmere sweater, a thick scarf, and my FAVE pink beanie. Obviously, I don’t live somewhere where it snows all winter so I don’t feel the need to buy snow shoes/boots. So, I opt for my hunter rain boots and they work just perfectly for our little 1 inch snow days. Just wrap your pup up in a cute sweater and you’re both ready to take on the cold. Snow days are just way too fun sometimes and I hate it’s already almost gone.
