Hey girl hey! It’s getting that time where my ‘winter’ titled posts are going to slowly become spring and preparing for warmer weather. While in Texas, we go from 30 degrees one day to 80 degrees the next. I’m starting the purge in my closet and storing my Uggs and heavy clothes. I’m READY for winter to be over and for the sun to be shining warmth. But sometimes, the transition can get a little awkward. I’ll be talking more about this in a later post but today can be the start.
When transitioning, I put the big bulky layers away and strive for light layers. I keep my light sweaters in my closet until March typically and love to layer them according to how warm or cold it is that day. This is a more casual option with the jeans but pairing a cute sweater like the one I have on with a vest not only looks adorable but is warmer and you can take the vest (BTW: only $25 right now!) off if it heats up throughout the day. While I put the fur boots away, I keep my OTK boots out until March as well because they transition so adorably with sleeveless dresses or shorts and a cute or casual tee. These OTK boots are so comfortable and a great staple that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. 🙂
