Good morning!!!!! 🙂 I’m up at 5am this morning, getting ready for an EARLY morning shoot downtown. After, I’m driving straight from my shoot to the Austin area to go see Josh and his family for the holiday’s. I’m overly excited to spend a few days with them!!Â
We’re about 4 days away from the big XMAS. Then, New Years will be here before we know it y’all. I have about three New Years looks full of lots of sparkle I’ll be showing y’all. The other two are a lot less clothing and so I figured we would start it off with the warmest option.
This tip can actually go with most NYE looks. It’s pretty easy….
Add a simple long sleeved, turtleneck underneath a sleeveless dress! It’s as easy as that haha. What I recommend though, is to find a turtleneck in the shade that goes best, and a more FITTED one. This one from J.Crew actually is tight at the bottom but puffs out in the stomach area. When Josh and I were shooting this, many times it looked like I had a huge food baby or it was sticking out on the sides which is definitely NOT what you want nor is flattering haha. I just bought a more fitted black turtleneck that fits fabulously underneath my dresses for extra warmth. I personally love silver sparkles for NYE. I’m more of a gold girl, but I like silver on New Years. I typically opt for heels but if you’re more of a ‘comfortable over cute’ girl then these fun silver metallic booties are for you! They’re festive, out there, and very comfortable. Go a size up…. they run small.
