Hey y’all! It feels so awesome to be home. I drove back to Dallas Saturday morning and will be here for a little over two weeks! It’s always so fun to wake up in my old room to a house full of family and pets. Coco loves being in Dallas too. I secretly think she’s like her mom and craves the city life 😉
Since I really haven’t been home much this semester (only twice and for just a few days at a time) I have built up a Dallas to-do list of places I’ve seen from friends and family that have been newly built in the area that I’m dying to try out or places I love and have to get to. I thought I would share as most of my readers are from the Dallas area as well and may want to try some of these places out.
Dallas To-Do List:
-Go to Bird Bakery
-Eat at Shake Shack
-Visit the Gaylord Texan during Christmas
-Walk Highland Park Village + Get my favorite coffee from Royal Blue Grocery
-Eat brunch at Stirr
-Lunch at Mercat Bistro, walk around Harwood District and grab a cup of coffee at one of my favorites: Magnolias Sous Le Pont
-Go to Milk & Honey Boutique
-Eat sushi at least 5 times at my favorite places!
– –Run/ Walk Katy Trail
-Go to the Vitruvian Lights
-Go to Northpark and see the new Zara & walk Nordstrom <3
As you can see, most are restaurants/food or beverages lol! One of the reasons I cannot stay home the full month- I eat and spend money wayyyyy too much! Gotta love Dallas for the best eats around though 🙂
I overpacked a litttttleeee too much! I never know exactly what I’m going to be doing but knew I was going to be seeing friends all the time and needed outfit choices. I did happen to pack this more casual look that I am totally going to wear out to a quick dinner or for walking the mall finding last minute christmas gifts. This beanie has been on my head NON STOP. It is such a statement accessory that keeps my head and ears warm. It’s constantly going out of stock on Nordstrom, so grab it fast! They JUST re-stocked too. My OTK boots are the most affordable ones I’ve found. Choies has great pieces for awesome price points. Layering scarves or jewelry and beanies, make a casual jeans and comfy tee outfit look better in an instant! BTW- today is the last day to rush ship online and get it before christmas! Make sure you get all your gifts done.
