How I Remove My Makeup with Clarisonic

It’s Monday and I thought we could make it a little more bearable with a fun skincare post!

I constantly talk about skincare but never what comes before my skincare routine. I can’t put all those products and creams on without my skin being fully makeup free and clean. Over the years, I’ve used sooooo many things to remove my makeup and this little routine is what always nails it on the head for me!  Above are the products I use to efficiently remove my makeup and start my skincare routine

Glov:

Such a unique product and saves you money!! #yesplease. The fabric it’s made out of takes your makeup off in one swipe. All you do is wet it and then rub your makeup off your face. It’s gentle and works for sensitive skin. Afterwards, you just clean it with soap and all the makeup you just took off comes right off of it.

Clarisonic:

My favorite thing of all time! I have had a clarisonic since they first came out. I had a pink one and it died two years ago and I never got another one. When Clarisonic wanted to collaborate with me, I sure as heck jumped on that! I fully believe in this product, as it’s one of the best ways I’ve found to remove all makeup off and cleanse my skin, while being gentle on my skin.

Retinol:

Ah, my fave stuff!!! I recommend this to anyone who wants to get rid of acne. It’s what worked for me!

Moisturizer:

I’ve been loving the Dermalogica Skin Soothing moisturizer. It replenishes the needed moisture and vitamins back into my skin.

First Step

As y’all can see above I use my Glov to remove most of my makeup, specifically the top layer… it’s extremely easy and gentle on my skin. After I’m done, I just run warm water over it and add soap to it and squeeze all the makeup out, then hang to dry! Second Step

Then, I move onto the deep clean part of removing my makeup. I do this with my Clarisonic and I add a quarter size amount of the face wash it comes with. It works great on my skin and gets left over dirt and makeup right off. Third Step

I go into my skin care but sometimes when I’m tired and don’t want to do it all I’ll slap on some of my retinol and then my moisturizer and voila! For a more in depth post about the products I use daily on my skin for my skincare routine click here.
