I love Wednesday’s! Simply for the fact that I only have one class and do blog work/errands all day. I especially love that I only have one class because this Wednesday…. I’m not feeling so great. I’m a little nervous that I may be getting the flu or something but I’ve been extremely lethargic and un motivated lately. On top of that, I’ve been dealing with a weird rash on my neck and I’m so glad these photos were taken before waking up the next day with it.
I loved this day because Josh and I went to this beautiful park in Lubbock and sat on this dock with Marley, relaxing and taking some photos. Typically, I’m in a t-shirt and nikes but I wanted to dress up a little bit and show off this adorable blush colored outfit. I shared in this Instagram photo about how much I just really appreciate my boyfriend, Josh. He is so caring and always helps out with my blog. It’s funny because one of the first few times I hung out with him I brought my blog up just to see his reaction. He was extremely interested and pretty much was like well I don’t really know what that is but I’m interested to learn more. And that right there, made me know instantly the kind of man he is and the kind of man I wanted to get to know. So many college guys see my Instagram page or Facebook posts about my blog and make fun of it to me, say it’s dumb, or shoot it down in some way to me. When I was single, I told myself I would never date a guy who couldn’t at least try to understand this passion of mine and learn more about it. Josh has done that and supports me like no other.
He takes my photos for me, most importantly… and I praise the lord that he has so much patience with me. I’m like “ok… we are shooting this day and doing 5 looks so… be prepared to spend like 3 hours with me” and he does it with no argument. We get to shooting and I’m like “babe, can you get a different angle. Oh no that lighting isn’t good. I really don’t like this location.. on and on” and he just goes with it! He continuously amazes me and whenever I’m done with my blog work, I make sure he knows how much I appreciate him, and I always try to help him and care for him in whatever way he needs. I think it’s so important to know any relationship is a two way street and I’m so glad Josh and I definitely meet each other half way with everything.
Anyways, sappy moment is over haha but Josh shot this look for me and I.love.it. I loved the location and I loved that Marley came along for it. I am seriously CRAZY over blush colored pieces. The hat, the sunnies, the bag, the boots, and of course this ridiculously adorable off the shoulder top. I can’t wait to wear this outfit to formal chapters, date nights, and thanksgiving week when I’m home.
