Oh, how I love Fall! We’ve had a few cold fronts come in, in Lubbock but nothing crazy yet! I’m ready for it to drop 15 degrees cooler for good. I adore summer but there’s something about getting cozy in sweaters, boots, and scarves for Fall time! AND the fact it’s acceptable to go to pumpkin patches, movie dates, and have hot chocolate nights with your girls makes this season even better.
I wanted to introduce y’all to a new series I’m starting on AMS. It will be a few trends I share each season outside of my usual fashion posts. To kick it off I thought I would share one of my favorite trends for fall to winter, the knit dress! This one is super unique as it does have that low V-neck and has more of a boxy cut to it. The exact one I’m wearing is under $17 y’all!!! I love a good dress for less. I paired a bralette underneath it for coverage, but as y’all can see it’s definitely the less conservative option. You could pair a cute tank underneath, put a chunky scarf on, etc. There is so much you can do with a plain grey knit dress!
For a daytime version of this I paired my favorite flat black booties and this adorable grey hat. Another trend that has come up recently is the neck scarf! Every time I wear this blush colored one my boyfriend cracks me up because he calls me a flight attendant every.single.time. haha! But I think it’s another great way to break up an outfit. If I were to spice this look up for a date night or bar night with friends, some heeled boots, a choker, and curled hair would be SO CUTE.
I’ve got nothing planned for this weekend other than an early game day tomorrow.. and maybe a trip to our pumpkin patch (fingers crossed). Have a relaxing and safe weekend friends!
P.S. How cute and fun was the background for this!? Sometimes, Lubbock shocks me!
