We’re so close to the weekend!! Praise the lord. This has been my first week back at school and while I’m happier than ever to be on a schedule, I’m not so happy about the work load I’m taking on this year. But, I guess that’s college! Thursday’s are typically the ‘bar night’ in college and while I never missed out on one of these nights last year, my priorities are way different this time around and it’s weird to think that I’m more excited to stay home, cook dinner with my boyfriend, and work/ catch up on homework. When did I become a boring adult!?
Something NOT boring that I’m so excited to tell y’all about…. I’m headed to New York Fashion Week a week from today! This is something I’ve dreamed of my whole life but never imagined I would be invited. This is definitely the time I want to tell my readers to never quit your daydream!!! This blog has been my dream the last two years (before it was even started I dreamed about it) and it has lead me in more positive directions than I ever could have imagined. I have a lot of events and shows planned and I am SO EXCITED to share it all with you.
I’ve been planning my outfits and while I want to keep my style, I’m changing it up a little bit for my four days in the city. But, there’s nothing I love more than my girly southern style and this outfit is definitely an ‘AMS’ kind of look. Off the Shoulder dresses were my favorite this past summer and this grey one is subtle which can transition so nice into the fall. I also recently received this beautiful clutch from Gigi New York (which is on sale for $75 btw!!) and I don’t think I’ve ever loved a clutch more!! The neon melon color, tassel zipper, and pattern of it obviously make it one of the most unique bags I own. What I love about them is they also engrave everything for you if you want it! I has my first and last initials put on it and I love the gold detailing.
This bag will definitely be headed to New York with me.
