Day 1
Finally recapping my trip to Montreal!! Yay! I go to Canada every summer, I have since I was 11, to see some friends! I usually go to Ontario and stay at Lake Muskoka but the last two summers we’ve all met up in Montreal since one of our friends lives there AND we are all of drinking age. There’s also a huge music festival that we meet up for called Osheaga. This is what I like to call… the Coachella of Canada. It’s huge and they bring in such a good lineup of artists every year. We started our day by going to a local bar for pitchers of sangria and sat eating and drinking for a few hours until the people we liked were coming onto the stage. We started by walking around, scoping it out again and checking out the different stages. Last year, they had an edm stage that was actually so fun but this year it was terrible lol. Then, we went to see the Lumineers and Red Hot Chili Peppers (Flume was playing at the same time) before heading home. Everyone goes out at night to the clubs but being the home body I am, I went out Thursday night and couldn’t do it any more lol! I ended up wearing this outfit but switching the skirt to white, ripped, denim shorts.

Day Two
Ahhhh my favorite look! Thank goodness this day wasn’t as hot as the others, seriously it was SOOO warm all weekend. I got this crop top from Forever 21 and paired my favorite Levi shorts with it. Layered the jewelry and accessories and bam, you got yourself a festival look 🙂 We woke up, went back to the same bar to day drink and then made our way to the Osheaga grounds! Logic, Post Malone, Bastille, Haim, Lana Del Rey, and Future were all the big headliners playing this day! Future was the last one we went too and I was so excited to see him (rap is my guilty pleasure haha) but he took 30 mins to come out, and when he did he did not perform well at all so we ended up leaving after two songs. 🙁

Day Three
The last and final day!! I ended up wearing a different pair of denim shorts this day but everything else stayed the same. One thing I recommend, is white converse. They may not be glam, but for long festival days, they are definitely practical. Last year, I wore cute gladiator sandals and it was the biggest mistake ever! I was so glad I wore my converse each day no matter how they may have looked 😉
We day-drank at the same bar (it was so good and cheap!!) and then went to Osheaga for the final round of singers. I was the most excited for this day because Skepta, Keys N Krates, M83, Tory Lanez, Disclosure, Radio Head, and Mac Miller were all the main headliners. These are some of my TOP favorite artists. Tory Lanez was amazing and so fun to see… I was the most excited for Disclosure and Mac Miller and OF COURSE they both cancelled. Disclosure apparently missed his flight from Lollapalooza and people said Mac Miller canceled because he got admitted back into rehab, but apparently he ended up showing up but I’m not sure.
Hope y’all enjoyed this little re-cap. I definitely recommend this festival and Montreal should be on your list of places to go next 😉 It’s such an incredible city filled with kind people. Have a fabulous weekend! I’m headed to Austin this weekend to visit my boyfriend! I miss him like crazy!! xoxo
