Good Morning, friends! I know mornings can be hard sometimes but I have 5 tips to share with y’all that help me wake up in a great mood every morning to kickstart my day. Each morning I like to have a little ‘morning routine’ that I’m comfortable with and a routine that works for me. I think this is important for everyone to have because it gives you something to look forward to each morning. I enjoy my ‘me’ time and my morning routine let’s me have that time.
5 Tips To Kickstart Your Morning:
1. Coffee/ Tea Time
My favorite thing of the day. There’s nothing like a fresh pot of coffee, mixing in your sweetener and taking that first sip. I like to take my coffee into my room and start my day. At this point, I will usually turn on my ‘chill’ playlist on Spotify. (Puts me in the best mood)
2. Love On Your Animals
Sometimes I don’t always have a ton of time to do this in the morning but I love cuddling my cat Nora in the morning and spend time talking to her (yes, I love talking to my kitten). Animals can offer so much love and affection so putting 5 minutes of your morning aside to love on your animals will automatically put you in a happy and loving mood for the day.
3. Look at emails/ social media
Of course, everyone has gotta check their Instagrams and Twitters ASAP. I actually get so excited to open emails so I’ll usually go through and check out what emails I have that came through the night, then check all of my social media. Unfortunately, social media has taken over our daily lives and has become a strict part of our daily routine. But, if you love it like I do, I feel like I can officially start my day as soon as this step is done.

4. Send a Selfie
Optional…. but sometimes sending a fun selfie to your friends or boyfriend can help put a smile on your face bright and early 😉 Include your furry baby in it too!
5. Exercise
Ahhhhh. I cannot express this enough. This will TRULY kickstart your morning and have you energized to take on the day. I started my summer going to the gym before work but then traveling and life happened and I got too lazy. I got back into a routine of going around 6pm but exercising in the morning is on my list to do again this fall at school. Exercise is amazing for your body and mind and checking this off in the morning will get your body and blood pumping all day long.
