Happy Monday friends!
I’m down to the final week of freshman year. It’s so bitter sweet…. like I’m truly so excited to be home a few months in the city again and be working, working out, and blogging more but at the same time, Lubbock has become my home and my friends here have become my family. I see my 5 best friends all day, every day and the fact that we will be separated for 3 months literally kills me. 🙁 I’m so used to living on my own and doing my own thing I think it will be weird to live at home again for a few months. But, it’s the last summer and long period of time that I will ever live at home the rest of my life which is also really depressing lol. Life is changing so much!!
What I’m most excited for this summer is all of the trips I have planned. I have saved my own money to be able to fly myself to different places and pay for everything on my own. I have some super exciting destinations planned and I will most definitely keep y’all updated through it all 🙂
So, travel. It’s an amazing thing. When traveling, it’s always fun to dress the part though with the perfect travel outfit. I love a good ripped jean and lounge top when on the airplane. But, sometimes when I know that the second I get off the plane I’ll be headed to do something, I try to find a travel outfit for that occasion as lazy as I can. Body suits are in right now, and I LOVE it. They’re perfect for travel and the best to wear with high waisted shorts because you aren’t worried about tucking in your shirt and situating it. Personally, I would throw on a nice long cardigan with this travel outfit to take on the cold plane, and voila; I’m ready to go right when I get off! This body suit is fun for the day and playful for the night. I love the criss cross detail, and the white ripped shorts make it a little more relaxed. I adore my snake skin slip on shoes for on the go and of course gotta throw on a nice baseball hat. I carry my Tory Burch Tote EVERYWHERE with me too. It has a nice laptop compartment and separated sides so that this Type-A girl can have an organized bag. I think comfort is your first priority when traveling and then you can add in little pieces, like a bodysuit, to change things up to your travel outfit that allow you to be fully ready to take on a day at your destination. Most everything in this outfit is from Topshop… they have the best summer selection!
Where are y’all traveling to this summer!?
