I had a quick 36 hours in Dallas this past weekend, that went super well! AKA slept the whole time, which is productive to me. 😉  I wish I could show y’all my planner for this week. The amount of projects, essays, and tests to prepare for is ridiculous. I’m only taking 15 hours this semester and I just signed up for 19 hours in the fall, kind of panicking with how much work I’ll have when I’m drowning with 15 hours right now. I’m just trying to power through this week and make it to this weekend, because we have formal starting this Thursday! (yayay!!)  Follow along on my Instagram and Snap Chat for this weekend. I’m gonna go ahead and apologize to all of my readers that dress WAY more conservative. This lingerie outfit is a little out there, but perfect for my college girl friends who go out like I do 🙂
I talked in a post here about spring trends. One of those trends was the ‘lingerie by day’ trend. It’s a new trend you have probably seen a ton with huge fashion influencers. It’s all about the bralettes and showing some skin. I got this crop top from Asos a month ago and have worn it out quite a few times. I usually wear it with high waisted denim shorts, as that fits more of the dress code here in Lubbock. But I saw this adorable light pink skirt in my closet and wanted to pair it with this crop top. This lingerie outfit makes such a scandalous look, girly and innocent. Since this top is extremely see-through and out there, I added a fringe vest to add texture and cover myself a little bit more. Underneath the crop top, I wore a bralette from Forever 21. This continues the lingerie outfit look, making it extra sultry. Forever 21 has a ton of affordable bralettes if you want to try out this trend. Even wearing a button down half open with a lace bralette is a fun way to branch out into this lingerie by day trend. I think it’s a trend that requires you to feel super comfortable with your body, but once you’re comfortable with it, the look is so flirty and fun.
