Half way through the week!! Whoohoo!
I thought I would share with y’all a delicious and easy drink for weekends with family or friends.
I’ve been in Ontario, Canada at Lake Joe. It’s gorgeous and always the best vacation not only for its beauty, but because I get to be with some of my best friends that I only get to see once a year.
My friend Audrey and I (yes…. we have the same name haha) really wanted to make a drink so we could use our adorable ‘what happens at the lake stays at the lake’ cups so we decided on making some pink lemonade. I’ve never made pink lemonade from scratch… (always packets!!) but after using fresh ingredients I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
This drink is so fresh and easy so if you’re interested then keep scrolling for the recipe and fun pics 🙂
Above are the majority of the ingredients you’re going to need:
– 1/2 cup of sugar
-1/2 cup of water
-1 cup of raspberries
-1/2 cup of lemon juice
-1 cup cold water and ice
This amount made two small cups for Audrey and I, so if you are planning for a large group double/triple the amount as you need!
The first part is to boil the sugar, water, and raspberries. Once it gets to more of a juice concentrate then that’s when you can move on!
Next is to strain the mixture you have so far. We all know raspberries have seeds and you don’t want that in your lemonade so we gotta take those out! I poured bit by bit into the strainer and kept pushing on it until all of the juice was out and I was left with just seeds.
Stir in your lemon juice, water, and ice and you’re good to go!
We added these cute straws and a strawberry for an extra touch but you can do as you please. That’s the recipe and you are left with a delicious and easy drink. Hope y’all enjoyed this post!
